Fiber-Coupled Laser Diode
- Several-Hundred-Watt-Class High Output Power
- Small-core Fiber Coupling
- Water-cooled Heatsink
Product Features
This laser source unit incorporates multiple laser diodes. The laser beams from the individual diodes are precisely aligned using optical lenses and mirrors, and combined into a single optical fiber. This enables the delivery of high optical output power through an optical fiber with a very small core diameter. The unit is also equipped with a water-coolable heatsink. In addition, terminals provided on both sides of the unit allow flexible customization of the electrical connections between the laser diodes.

I-L Characteristics
The graph shows the forward current versus optical output power characteristics of a fiber-coupled semiconductor laser product incorporating multiple 465nm laser diodes. Optical output power of up to 550W can be delivered through an optical fiber with a core diameter of 110µm.
Beam Profile
The graph shows the laser beam diameter as a function of distance from the end of a 110µm core optical fiber. The beam diameter is defined as the diameter enclosing 86.5% of the total optical output power.
Reliability
Optical output degradation remains minimal even during long-term continuous operation, with approximately 5% output power degradation after 10,000 hours of operation.
