This privacy policy is issued by NICHIA CORPORATION and its group companies as shown on the following page of our website (Plants and Sales Office Locations) (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”, or “NICHIA GROUP”). This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, share and otherwise process your personal data. We take your privacy seriously. When we collect and use your personal data for various business purposes, we undertake to comply with applicable data protection laws (including EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”)).

Since NICHIA GROUP companies are located in Japan and other multiple jurisdictions, we may disclose your personal data to other countries outside your country of residence (including countries outside of the European Economic Area, where data protection law with a level of privacy and data protection equivalent to that of GDPR is not in force). In cases where such data transfer happens, we protect your personal data by putting in place appropriate measures (including contractual commitments) to ensure adequate level of data protection.
