Tokushima Taisho Bank Sako Branch Chooses Nichia's Disinfection LED and Dynasolis™ LED Solution
Tokushima, Japan – 10 April 2023: Nichia's Dynasolis™ and NF2W585AR-P8 have been implemented in lighting at the recently completed Tokushima Taisho Bank Sako Branch with the goal of circadian lighting and disinfection lighting respectively.
Tokushima Taisho Bank has 107 domestic branches with its headquarters located in Tokushima, Japan. Its Sako branch has been relocated and opened as a new branch.
The disinfection LED, NF2W585AR-P8, is a dual-function LED that provides both white light and high doses of energy geared for inactivation of various prevalent bacteria. The LED is integrated in Otsuka Corporation's fixtures, which are installed above the ATM booths in the Sako branch. Tokushima Taisho Bank is the first bank in Japan that has adopted disinfection lighting in its branch.
Dynasolis™ is an LED tuning solution that regulates the human body's internal clock (circadian rhythms). With the combination of the energizing azure and calming warm white, this solution contributes to the secretion of serotonin, a hormone responsible for regulating circadian rhythms. Dynasolis™ is integrated into Libertasolis™ manufactured by Niigata Electronics Corporation. The fixtures are installed in the waiting area, meeting room, and workspace of the Sako branch.
Libertasolis™ emits soft light sideways, illuminating the entire space comfortably to welcome visitors to the bank. The fixture is thin and lightweight, and easily installed on the ceiling or walls, enabling new and unprecedented lighting fixture designs.
Mr. Yasushi Mima, the Public Relations representative at Tokushima Taisho Bank, noted “The newly opened Sako branch is an environmentally-friendly building using a solar power system and built with anti-virus materials to ease visitors' sanitation concerns. We are proud of being the first bank that has installed disinfection lighting into ATM booths, and are also proud that we have adopted state-of-the-art lighting to offer a comfortable atmosphere to visitors and workers by gently illuminating the waiting area and workspace with health-focused light.”
